ABOUT ME
Welcome.
My story is no different to yours I have struggled with weight loss and weight stability for many years. My weight ballooned to almost 100kg during my adult years I am 165cm tall. I have firsthand knowledge of how difficult it is to resist junk food and have felt powerless to stop bad eating patterns. I have beaten myself up because I just couldn't stick to a diet for more than 3 days. Rode the binge and purge cycle, tried every diet under the sun, several times, and kidded myself that the next diet would be IT.
I was not an active person, in fact, I hated exercise. Sound familiar? When I say, I understand your struggle, I UNDERSTAND YOUR STRUGGLE!

Create the life you want, but first beleive you deserve it!
I never understood why I could not do it, I just thought I was weak, had no will power and I didn't think I ate THAT badly. I didn't have the knowledge I do now.
Losing weight is not easy, no matter how much weight you have to lose, it will provide you with a challenge. But it is not impossible, it requires a whole"istic" change approach - mind, body, soul and lifestyle.

I believe that with nutritional education, food awareness and food choices you can change how you think about food and your behaviour towards food.
My advice and opinions are founded on current research/education and my own raw personal experience.
I have a Bachelor in Nutrition with minors in psychology, have spent over 30 years as a Beauty Therapist, have attended hours of counselling. I have worked hard to become a happy, independent, unique, strong, individual. I want you to feel the same.

So what can you expect from me? In almost everything I do in life I try to keep it simple and have fun. My unique personal approach to nutrition and weight loss is no different. I do not offer quick solutions to weight loss, my personal experience and belief is that it takes most people time to become overweight and it takes time to achieve your ideal weight.
My blog will provide you with - nutrition principals, simple recipes, present research facts for your consideration, share my experiences and opinions with you, review products, books, diets, diet apps, offer tips to help keep you motivated, and easy solutions to help make your weight loss journey easier and achievable.
